hi, first I would like to apologise for my language, I will do my best to explain problem with our car.
I'm from Poland, our Dodge is a 1995 (but new series - 96-01) Grand Caravan 3.3L V6 automatic. mileage is 270k km (about 168k km), all stock. my dad bought it in 1996 as a new car (imported from USA).
problem appeared about 2 years ago - car suddenly stopped after gas pedal loose. engine started normally and everything was ok till last month. now it's impossible to drive a car, it starts normally (sometimes not, gas pedal need to be pushed) but engine stops after few meters. to drive, it is necessary to keep acceleration pedal pushed, engine can't be down to 1000 RPM because it immediately stops. air and fuel filter were changed 2 days ago. additionally, Check Engine keeps flashing (but sometimes it is off). mechanic said, that it could be a problem with fuel injection, so did anyone have a problem like that? what should I check? gasoline is excellent quality, engine oil also.
BTW the car is great, it has never disappointed us, only rust looks horrible (rear fenders are rusty) and this problem with engine is really serious.

The check engine light is flashing because there is a misfire condition, is the engine running rough? You could have any number of things wrong. If your familiar with counting flash codes, you can cycle the key on-off-on-off-on and the check engine light will flash (engine not running) codes out. Count the numbers maybe that will tell you something.
