How does it compare to the 3.0 & 3.3? I just bought a 2000 GC Sport with the 3.8L motor... seems nice! I have a small Pop-up camper (1500lb. +/-) that I may use the GC to tow, it has the towing package on the van. Any thoughts on towing with this vehicle? Anything special to watch for?

the 3.8 is just a bored & stroked 3.3, its a good motor, with a tiny bit more torque off idle compared to a 3.3
3.3 is more for a spirited driver (aka me )
& the Mitsubishi 3.0 is okay, if you like relying on a timing belt, & having a trail blue smoke following you everywhere, plus fixin' them all the time
I don't hear much about the 3.8L motor...
