Default '92SE vs '95AWD HELP!

Howdy folks. I currently own a '92 Caravan SE, 3.0 with the non-overdrivetranny. It'sbare bones option wise, but it runs well. 115K is on the odo. I wasn't even thinking of getting another ride until I saw a '95 Grand Caravan AWD with 120K on its odo for $1800. The body looks fine with the exception ofa small amount of rust by the passenger side rear wheel well. This van has the 3.3 with the infamous overdrive tranny, but it had been replaced with a new one about 35K ago. It's pretty much loaded with the factory options. Everything on this van works. The current owner has maintained everything according to factoryrecomendations and has the documentation to prove it. My question is, is this worth it? I really would like to get this van for a number of reasons, but want to float the knowledgable people here. I don't want to make this an emotional descision and need some solid info on this motor/tranny set up and any AWD issues that may be problematic that I'm unaware of. Thanks in advance for ANY feedback you can offer. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

well with the AWD you can't go wrong, if you live wheres there alot of snow

3.3 will outlast the 3.0 period, eventully your 3.0 is going to start costing you alot of money, while the 3.3 can be ignored for years & still stay alive & well, tho i would still do regular oil changes

also '95 is the first year they started using platinum plugs

now i don't have any personal experience with the AWD vans, but i don't remember hearing anything really wrong with them, just make sure you keep good care of that trans

Thanks Greg. I got your email before I was back on the site. Like I mentioned, I bought the van within 24 hours of seeing it and after going over the whole thing feel like a made out very well. Regarding the snow, I live on Long Island, we do get some snow, but not too much. But in the event that we do get dumped on , I've now got AWD for getting up and down the steep hills in my neighborhood. Thanks again man![sm=icon_cheers.gif]
