Default 96 Caravan timing chain question

I have a 1996 Grand Caravan 3.8L. I was told that the timing chain schedule is to replace it at 150,000 miles. Is this true?

Never heard of such a thing. Never have seen a broken timing chain on a 3.3 or 3.8. Will last the life of the engine.

I agree with Brandon... Unless that baby is slappin around and such, I wouldn't worry too much. If motor and crank is accessed for some reason, then the condition can be assessed and changed then if necessary. On my 91 3.3 with 260,000 it was worn but very functional if that tells you anything
