Default Broken bracket rivets - 2001 Caravan 3.3

Hello,

I isolated a metallic rattling sound in a friend's Caravan to a loose bracket in the radiator area. The bracket is bolted securely on its left end (passenger side), but rivets have broken on its other end (at about the centerline of vehicle). The bracket is located in the front of the engine compartment, in front of the two cooling fans, sandwiched between the radiator, trans oil cooler, condenser, and/or some other cooling devices. I did not have time to determine which device is under the bracket and supposed to be restrained by it, and the owner does not have the service manuals.

Does anyone happen to know what is the cooler to which this bracket should be attached? Here is a photo looking down into the radiator area, after removing one plastic shield over the front grille:

And can I reattach the bracket to the cooler with pop rivets, or is that unwise?

Thanks for any advice.
