i'll be checking with my local parts store for this kit
in one winter i went throught 3 belts.
at $40-$60a belt plus labour/towing
i bought the special belt tool and kept a spare in the back
the snow packs up by the p/s pump then jumps the belt
what a "design flaw"

I'd like to see a poll to see just how many have had this problem and on which engine.

my 99 and friends at work have a 97 and a 2000
all 3.0L and all have thrown belts
the 97 dealer told him the p/s pump was misaligned
the 2000 he was told the tensioner was bent
they do sound like possible causes
mine i'm just waiting to see if anything is going to fail
the belt is missing one rib of the 6 been like that for about 8 months now
winters here so we'll see

Why not start here... Or start a poll of your own.
