My wife's 2002caravan(44,000 miles) just started making a knocking noise from the front end when driving over small or large bumps. You can also feel itin the stearing wheel. I changed the sway bar links (the 12"+ bars from the sway bar to the shocks) because the rubbers were bad. This did not help. I changed the sway bar bushings (the bushingon the sway bar to the chasis). The ride is now quiet. The bushings took me 1.25 hours start to finish to change.
