Default RE: TRANSMISSION

One of the largest reasons for failures of the A604 is spinning the tires at high RPM's. Often the differential will fail. Been there - Done that! - Many times lol...
The only differences are a couple of sensor connector styles. Easy enough to transfer from your old tranny to new one anything that doesn't connect right... Only one I wouldn't necessarily recommend swapping over is the solenoid pack. Just make sure the one you get from the junk yard wasn't smoked. Check the flexibility of the output shaft seals and that will tell you alot about the mileage and sometimes how hot it may have gotten. Another junkyard trick is to dump fresh fluid into the torque converter or into the pan to make it look good. Take a 10mm socket and remove the tranny pan and look at the magnet and tarnish in the pan. If they won't let you do that look for a place that will.... Been there and done that also, the hard way..... Good Luck
