Default 1997 Dodge Caravan Stalls when turning after stop

I have a 97 dodge caravan and it stalls whenever I try to make a complete turn at a traffic light. If I am going straight it is not a problem and if I take a wide turn there is no problem. However, if I try to make a u-turn it will stall in the middle of the road. It appears to happen more frequently when the engine is warm but I am not sure.

I can reproduce the problem by turning the wheel all the way while parked. It would start and automatically stall once when the wheel was in a locked position. I had to move the wheel around a little before it started.

I took it in and no errors are showing up on the diagnostics.

Thank you for your help.

Default RE: 1997 Dodge Caravan Stalls when turning after stop

Bet it runs great, most of the time also.?.

I would start with a can of throttle body cleaner.

Carefully follow the instructions. and spray the inside of the carburator repeatedly.

You will see black deposits through into the manifold. Do the best you can A cleaning carefully with a Qtip helps.

It may sound crazy, But I had the same problem and it helped completely.

Good Luck
