Default 2001 Gr Caravan Shakes

Hi all, I have a 2001 Grand Caravan Sport with a 3.3 engine. A problem has developed, and I can't figure out what it is. While accelerating, once I get to about 45 mph, it starts shaking, and shakes untill just over 50 mph. If I let off the accelerator, it stops until I accelerate again. I've checked the tire balance and the wheels are true and balanced. I'm thinking I may have a benthalf shaft. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions? Thanks, Tony

It could be an inner CV joint--how many miles do you have on it?

I've replaced all of the above, and mine still does the exact same thing. Mine's a 97 3.0 though, and my shake speed is 55-60. Let me know if you ever figure this one out.

there seem to be more than one problem. the shake on and off the gas is axles/ and worn out motor mounts too. you may need to center the motor and trans under the hood. we run into alot of older vans that never ride the same as they did when new. alan
