Disconnect passanger airbag on caravan 2005

Hi i have a dodge grand caravan ,and i know that some how i can disconnect the passanger airbag on the car but how ,i have a passanger airbag off display obove the stereo bt how can i disconnect it ????

Its automatic!

A sensor under the seat measures weight and triggers the on or off.
Under the weight and it disarms. Over the weight and its on.

I wouldnt disconnect it.

okay but if a put a child seat there ,the back of the child seat against the dashboard is it off then

I dont want to preach, But:
Never put a infant car seat in the front.
A properly tightened car seat requires an adult to bear down on a knee into a car seat. Then tighten.
This pressure is more than enough to set off the sensor, Putting the child in serious danger from the air bag.

u have a mini van dude U have room for 8 people why would u need a car seat in the front
If the weight of the seat and child is not 100 then the light will come on the dash lihgt that i see that turns off the pass air bag untill the weight is over 100 or any weight is removed. So to answer your question just unstall the seat and it will turn off by itself because thay made that just for people that dont want to have there child in the back seat.
