Default New Challanger r/t srt question

Hello im new to this forum, I wanted an aswer to a question that ive been itching to ask ......I was curious when the new challanger comes out will it be a R/T or SRT version???????.... if the challanger is going to be an R/T dont you think that Dodge will come out with an SRT the following months or year? if thats the case i'd rather wait for the SRT model, i dont want to buy the challanger later regreting that i should have waited for the newer version.

Default RE: New Challanger r/t srt question

We are not entirely sure just yet. The concept labels a 6.1L HEMI equipped model labeled as an R/T model. The 6.1L is offered in the LX cars (Charger, Magnum, 300C) as an SRT-8. There are rumors that a larger HEMI a 6.4L might be offered eventually. I would guess that if the Challenger R/T is a 6.1L, then there will be an SRT after a while, if not I wouldn't hold my breath.
