Default dvd headphone

We have an 06 charger with the rear entertainment system. Well after 3 years of abuse by 2 kids the wireless headphones have quit working. We need replacments but dont want to pay dealer prices. Anybody have any suggestions?

What about the kits that Best Buy has? Would they work?

Seems that you have to hook up the transmitter to the audio out and the 12V power source of the DVD system and that is it.

Here is the link to one that comes with the transmitter and 2 sets of headphones.

Hum now that is interesting.

Personally I just want to replace the OEM head sets. I have no idea what the frequency is for the transmitter that is already built in. This may take some time to find out but someone out there has to know the details.

Found this dutch auction on e-bay, don't know if it would be 100% compatible.

I may have to give that a try......around first of the year the charger will be on trailer going from amarillo (after being driven there by my wife) to san antonio, the thru college station so my daughter can see a&m (softball pitcher) so if you see us make sure you honk (of course it will be pulled by a mopar deisel)
