Default 1974 Winnebago on a Dodge Chassis

I am currently restoring a '74 Winnebago with a Dodge 318-3. I have found out a little about the 318-3. It has a Carterr BBD carburetor. I bought a 1990 Dodge pickup with factory throttle body. My intent is to remove the intake , heads, exhaust manifolds, distributor, push rods & replace them with the 1990 intake, throttle body, heads, push rods, exhaust manifolds, wiring harness, engine computer, alternator, timing cover, chain, water pump. One reason to keep the 318-3 is the steel forged crank & 4 bolt mains. The idea of the throttle body is to increase mileage & overall performance. I also have the 4 speed tranny to swap with the 3 speed factory. Any thoughts on this. Thanks.
