Default Help Please

I'm not sure if i'm in the right forum but...

I have a 77 royal monaco w/360 2bbl

How in the world does that auto choke work? Mine just stays wide open all the time. The vacume valve works fine and the runs great once it worms up. ire of using my finger as a choke holder.

The carb is a NEW holley 2245 (rebuild from local auto parts store). i can't find anything helping me not even from holley. (seems they dont't want to remember this carb)

thanks Greg
