Default Help identify this part?

I need help from someone smarter than me (that shouldn't be hard to find!) This part has the DPCD marking. It is also marked with the numbers 9717 and 1971522. I think the second number means the part dates to the 1950s. It measures 3.75 inches in diameter. Does anyone recognize this part? Any help would be appreciated!

That's what I'm trying to figure out. This part came with some parts that I purchased at an auction. I'm sure someone, somewhere, needs it, but I don't know what the heck it is.

What kind of auction? I mean it could be anything. Not even vehicle related.

Well, the DPCD logo stands for Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-Desoto. Thanks anyway.

A beauty ring for a cluster gauge?

Housing for a small external lamp? Possible a round tail lamp?

First is a 58 Chevy

Second is a 68 charger, not it but you get where i'm going with my description.

We should have threads like this often called "Guess the Part"

Light bezel would be my guess. I tried a reverse google image search but didn't get anything.

Try contacting someone who deals in old Dodge-Plymouth-Chrysler-Desoto NOS parts. They should be able to help you.
