Ok as the wife (lilfroger) told ya i got a new 6.7 on friday night ,so what can be done to get rid of the two dpf,s and get better flow,and how do you take the silencer ring out is there one? anything i need to watch out for?

you have a lot of emission on the exhaust. I assume you know you'll likely void something if you remove anything in it. You may also set codes that can't be dealt with??? If you're ok with that.... this place has been working on a aftermarket exhuast, and programmer for the 6.7L. http://www.nadp.ca/home.html
They're in Canada and don't have emissions laws like we do in the states. You can give them a call to see if they have the exhaust ready yet.
Another thing you need to be concerned about. If EPA laws are strict in your state it might be a problem to do. I don't know exactly but, I remember reading something about the 07.5's have to go on the rollers for emission testing. Not sure but, it was something crazy. They aren't exempt from emission like earlier models are in most states.
edit : forgot about the ring. As NC said, I'm not sure either whether the new turbos have the ring. If it does, just pull off the torque tube at the turbo. Look inside and you'll see a kind of C-clip just out side of the compressor wheel. Get that clip out and the ring will come right out. No need in reinstalling the clip
removal of the DPF will casue a code. . .your pretty much screwed there. you can remove the muffler, thats about it.
as far as the silencer ring, I believe there are three posts that are holding the insert instead of a snap ring.

There is a pressure sensorupstream of the DPF and another downstream. The vehicle computer uses the pressure difference between the two to determine when to start the regeneration cycle. If you remove the DPF, just remount the sensors so the computer continues to get the proper signals. A guy on the TDR forum wrote about it recently. He said his 6.7L still went into a regen cycle once in awhile, but the computer didn't show any codes.

ok well im prob screwed but i now think taking the silencer ring out is goin to be a waste of time, i was readin that the 16 vane blades have ben designed to be verry quiet , the only time i hear the turbo is when i down shift with the exhaust brake on. and on the note of those dam DPF,S i can see rerouting the upper and lower pressure tubes but i dont see how im goin to get a(CLEAN!) signal back to the pcm with out the dpf,s ,and if by some miracle it works without a code gettin kicked ,then it will be in regen all the time ,wasting a bunch of fuel

There is no "clean" signal to the computer, just pressure readings. If you have no DPF then the pressure difference between the two sensors will be nil, so theoretically it will never go into the regen cycle. See?
