sweet! how hard was it to get the mounting done where you put it? I'll bet a right angled drill was used. Even where I put it, I have had no issues off roading at all... here's a pic I just took of it.
Bail on it? maybe. Everytime I think about getting a new one, I think about the monthly payment. The one I have now is paid for. That usually convinces me to keep fixing it and deal with the problems.
lol heres how I look at it. once your repairs start to add up in a year more than what a years worth of payments are then it's time to get a new truck. so let's see probably 500 bux a month for a nicely equipped truck so yea 6k in a year until you would be better off financially to buy a new truck. 500 is a high payment estimate tho.

LOL, I hear ya.
Over the course of the last year, I've probably put about 6 grand into my Ram, but I think it was mostly stuffto help my truck live a longer life and not stuff to shortenit. When I hear about the mileage that these guy's are getting, THAT'Swhenmy head starts leaning in the "bail on it " direction. If I'm spending 80 bucks a week on fuel, and these guy's are spending that same 80 every OTHER week, THAT get's my head going. realy the mounting was a breeze. I could only put in two bolts due to where I mounted it however it seems to be holding it's possition very well. I used my cordless drill and it just punched right through the frame like butter

Steve, did you notice a slight reduction in cold engine valve noise???
Normaly, it would take me about a minute before my valves would quiet down when the engine was cold. . .now it is within a few seconds of startup that things get rather quiet and I hearmy normal injectorknocking (been doing it since day one). I know it is from the filler cap return. . .but I didnt expect it to act as quickly as it does
