Default exhaust brakes-- BD vs Pacbrake

Howdy gang!

What's the consensus? BD exhaust brake or Pacbrake PRXB?
Max retarding power? Best warranty? Best performance?
This oughta be good![sm=vader.gif]

Not sure of the research concensus, but I love my Pacbrake. I use it 24/7 and only once did it quit on me. Actually it was due to the thermo fuse tripping from over heating. That was my issue from towing a heavy load up in the mountains during Aug.

I seem to see alot of advertising for motorhomes reccommending Pacbrake.

Guess the bottom line is that either one is better than not having one at all !

Another neat feature of the Pacbrake, and I don't know if it was a promotion at the time of my purchase almost a year ago, but along with the exhaust brake, a flexable coiled air hose was supplied with the kit. The hose has an adapter for connecting to the compressor in the event ofinflating tires or other items. Just another benefit.....
