It's a thurenfabrication.com one... as mentioned, it was to center the axle, the stock bar was probably fine. the bushings looked ok.. Louie was parked out by the front of the house...

Default RE: DIY tracbar install

I second the question about how to tell when a trac bar is going bad. It's pinned on one side so you can't really wiggle it to see.

I'd say you would have to lay under the front and watch the bar while someone turns the wheel lock to lock... that would put some pressure on the axle to move and you could look at the ends to see if there is any loosness in it. if there is (and you have a stock height truck), i'd get the urethane bushings to replace the stock ones with.
