My first diesel was a 6.9. About in the same shape. Brought back memories of carefree abuse.

May not be as powerful or reliableas the cummins, but them old 6.9's seem to hold up real well.

IF you could get er started, it would run forever, pull 18-19 mpg without OD and keep a smile on your face with all the smoke. I am a convert to cummins now and should stop talking IH now.

Loved my 6.9 and I loved the 7.3 in the 96 van I had as a company truck for 5 years. Don't know enough about them to hold an intellegent conversation, though. I laugh when people here post about problems with access to the Cummins, try a Van sometime. The fuel filter was an hour job.

Is there some sort of special overtime that your boss gives you? Does Sharx know you are cheating on him?
