Default Transfer of warranty question

I'll check at my dealer tomorrow, but thought someone here may have the skinny on this. I 'm following a lead on an '06 2500 Cummins. This one has had 2 previous owners. I know that generous power train warranty transfers with the truck...but is there a limit to how many times it will transfer? Being the 3rd guy in line has me wondering. This truck only has 52K on it, so there would be a fair amount of warranty left. As always, thanks for your wisdom....

The Diesel engine warranty goes with the truck, but I believe the powertrain warranty stops with the 3rd owner...

Thanks for the help...as it turned out I didn't buy that particular, but the info is still useful. Thanks again.
