Default 03' Dodge Ram 3500 CumminsTD, Max Tire Size (stock), and lift questions?

hello all,

i joined the forum to try and leech some expertise off of you enthusiasts. my brother is getting some tire/wheel upgrades so i was going to get his hand-me-downs of 35" tires and wheels; however, my truck is stock. it appears that i probably can't get anything larger than a 32" or 33" without some kit and then nothing higher without a lift? can anyone validate that?

also, if i wanted to opt for the lift, what is the best way to do it? blocks, kit, etc? can anyone offer a good riding suggestion?

thanx in advance!

you can run 305 which are 35 on a stock truck and it will only rub a little on tight turns.

if you put a leveling kit on, (about $100 if you do it your self) you can run a 35 x 12.50 on a 10in. wide wheel, but you just have to trim the the plastic just a little on the rear of the fender well
