Recomend 35" tires that are good in the snow

I currently run 35 x 12.5 x 17" tires and need to replace them. Im hoping to get a tire that will work good in snow or am I better off putting the stock ones back on for winter? Thanks!

Take a look at the Yokohama Geolander M/T-s one of the guys I know run that all year and loves them, I am thinking about buying a set of them as well.

BFG ATs have a great rating (unless its really deep snow)

Are we talking deep, unplowed snow or hard packed under the plow snow here?

Because a tire that is traditionally good for one, sucks in the other...

For deep snow, an aggressive A/T or M/T is your best bet. For hard packed snow and ice, you want more surface contact, so your traditional highway tread is better. If it's rated as good on wet pavement, it'll generally be a good hard pack and ice tire...
