i'm new to the site, but looks like alot of good advice and info in here. i'm sure there are some ctd owners in here, my question is how many have had injection pump problems, and how many have done business with thoroughbred diesel out of kentucky? i just bought a new vp44 and air dog 100 and in just 5 days the new vp44 is giving problems. dead pedal, loading up like a carberated gas eng., and the code p0216 has set twice since install. the new vp is a reman bosch from industrial injection.

 

Let me move this to the diesel section, mostly gassers over here.

let me add that i have plenty of fuel pressure. also, all the timing marks on the gears are perfectly aligned as well as the keyway on the pump shaft. just wondering if anyone else has had problems with a new injection pump.
