Cool safe egt's?????

1993 d350, 5.9 12v,, put a hybred turbo,(hx35-40 mix),replaced the 160hp injection pump with a 180hp pump, stage 1 denny t fuel pin, diesel auto power- 7x10 145* injectors,(200hp),(40hp overstock),,, 4" down pipe,,what is a safe EGT to stay within??? at 50-55 it steadys out around 750-800, have not had it on the road yet,,but if it gets into a small pull it gets up around 1100-1150*,, so where is it going to start hurting the engine?? What temp can i run at and be safe ?? how hot is to hot?? and for how long ?? dont hot rod it ,,just wanted to add a bit more power,,it is a daily driver..
thanks mike

I wouldn't recommend it, but in theory you could run about 1200 degrees all day long and be ok. 1400-1500 for a second or two probably won't hurt, but at those temps you're starting to risk melting stuff.

On the HPCR trucks shift that up a couple hundred degrees. I had my defuel set at 1450 on my 08, and only hit it a couple of times. I've got a buddy who pegged out his 1600 degree gauge on an 05 and he's still putting it back together. I have another buddy who held 1800 degrees for a bit longer than he should have, his truck is still running but apparently his cylinder walls are oddly colored now. A rebuild isn't all that far off for him.
