Default Hercules Tires

Who's heard of them or run them? They seem to be the most cost effective tire I have found. I did a search and can't find any bad things said about the tires. I also found a Dak site where a bunch of guys had good things to say about them. Your input is welcome.

I bought Firestone AT 8ply's but I thought long and hard about the Primwell PA100. They were good looking tires and the guys said they've had very good luck with them. They are 125 out the door for 285-70/17. Waterloo Automotive also has them and has a better price they are in Waterloo SC if that helps. I got me FS their out the door for $640.00 they are 285-70/17's also. Hope this helps!

Which tread pattern are you considering? An M/T or an A/T or...?
M/T

A/T

They look like a pretty decent tire. Can't say I've ever heard of them though, so I've not really got any personal opinion on them. Tried to find something like a review on them or pricing, but kept coming up with sites that didn't have sh*t to do with sh*t...

I bought the tires that I bought based solely on the reviews that I heard here, not based on price. All told, they were about 100.00 more than what you are looking at.

Bottom line ... the tires that you are looking at may be great, but I'm not familiar with them

Sorry ...

I thought I was looking at the AT but it turns out it's the AW (the one in the lower right corner) in Dirties post. Gonna run me $625 out the door. The only thing that bothers me is the AT has a UTQG rating of 500 AB. The AW only has a 400 AB for the "P" tires, no rating on the "LT" 10 ply sizes. My only other choices seem to be a Firestone Transforce HT, which is just an oversized passeger car tire with a stright highway tread. Now I'm no off road guy or anthing like that but I don't want to get stuck in a 1/4 in of mud either. Tires are freakin expensive these days!!!

Tires are expensive. Be sure to do your homework, you don't want to be replacing these in 10k miles. I've never heard of Hercules, they may be awesome, I just don't know. Sorry.
