EGR Delete

What are the pros and cons of installing an EGR delete?

Pros

EGR = soot recirculation system

Soot is carbon, carbon is an abrasive, yadda yadda yadda.

Cons

Programmers to deal with the electronics are getting harder to find due to EPA fines levied against programmer manufacturers.
