Default Diesel Rollcall...

this section is getting a little on the big side... How about we introduce ourselves here and list our trucks & the mods they have, it's hard to remember who has what...

and for those who dont post but are registerd, lurking... it's the button on the left that says "New Post" or "Reply to Post"

Steve is the name (so obvious lol)
specs are:
'05 QC 4x4 White
Tranny: Auto
Wheels: Moto Metal 951's 18x9
tires: Pro-Comp Extreme AT's (working pretty good so far)
Exhaust: 30" magnaflow with a soon to be added Aero Turbine muffler in front of it.
Intake: ATS Arc Flow
CAI: AFE Stage 2 with the Pro-guard filter
Performance Box: TST PowermaxCR
Tonneau cover: Snug Top SL2 IIRC
Lift... none, leveled only with 2" spacer.
Fender Flares: ATS 2"

future mods... include tranny upgrades, possibly a single or dual e-fan setup, torque converter & flex plate, upgraded turbo (not radical or duals)
My goal for my truck is consistant 17.5 mpg average city/hiway with tons of power available at the push of a button.

Welcome to DF Adam...!

Nice pot handle there Donny... is that a Farberware handle? <jk> I would have never thought to use a pot handle for the tonneau cover... the strap seems to work good once your past the shock resistance.

Jacob, which filter do you have on the AFE? is it the pro-guard or the original setup?

Maybe I have an older cover, but the only way to lift it was to lift it by the twist and turn lock that is on the TOP of the cover. It really was a pain in the butt to open the cover, especially since it's an 8 foot cover and weighs a ton. I added the pot handle so that I had something to push up on while twisting the lock. Works 10000 times better now. It took me a while to find just the right thing for the job, but I think I succeded with the pot handle. Kinda looks like it belongs ther huh? Other's who have the same cover are kinda surprised and dig my mod.

Got the pro guard, I'm also lookin to replace the stock air to air tubes with polished stainless ones. Not sure if its worth the $$$'s for somethin you only see when the hood is open. They sure look nice though.
