My ram has recently developed the same bouncing or skipping when accelerated from a stand still. I was told a few weeks back that the rear driver side U joint could be replaced. Does anyone know if the U joint can in fact cause this symptom of skipping or bouncing? It goes away by 5 or 10 mph.
