A buddy of mine has a 1983 D-50 with the Mitsu. turbo diesel 4 cylinder. He recently had to replace a cracked cylinder head, has it all back together, but somehow lost his shop manual for the truck in a move. We can't seem to find another copy of the manual, and don't have the timing info (procedure) for timing the crank, injector pump, cams, etc. We have the dial indicators and everything we need to do the work, and was wondering if anyone on here knows which manual covers the turbo diesel D-50 (Hayne's manual specifically says no diesel) or if anyone can tell us the proper procedure, e-mail us some pictures, whatever??? Please help me help him, lol, he's gettin' desperate.

try Chilton books i think mine has something about the diesel engine in there.
