Hi All

Decided to get a future candidate truck for lift and mods and decided with Dakota
It's a 2003 with 108000 K or 67000 miles on it
It runs OK but would like to have transmission checked
People here have been complaining about the Tranny

Any thoughts or advice from on what my initial concerns appreciated

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I do not know of anyone that makes a lift for 03-04 dakotas. Nice looking truck though.

Not worried at the moment
Reason I got it was to haul all the parts to and from dealers and rebuild shops for my bronco rebuild
Just dismantling this truck




And at the moment have not even looked and studied the chassis of the dakota
But I am sure product will come along

Did some quick searches and you are right not much available but found something at fabtech

 

Welcome to the site. The only problem with the fabtech lift is that its for a 2wd. At the moment I don't believe they have anything for the 03-04 but if you come up with something be sure to post about it. I'm sure there arelot of members that would love to know.

Not sure if I got this picture on this forum or another and not sure what year this truck is but looks like a nice lift here

 

I'm pretty sure daksport put that pic up on another thread. but I would love to convert my dak to a straight axle.

 

Yep. That was me. I took that up at Bloomsburg this year. I know thats not a 03-04. It was also converted to SFA which is an awsome mod if you wanna spend the money to do it. Thats also got a CTD in it. Real badass truck.
