Default Powder Coating Alum Wheels

I want to powder coat my aluminum wheels to a satin black but I have heard that you should not powder coat aluminum wheels. Does anyone know if this myth is true?
-If its not true about how much for the 17 inch?
-And how long do they normally take to get it done?

Default Wheel Coating

Wheels are painted, even stock OEM alloy wheels. Powder coating requires heating to cure which can cause hydrogen embrittlement in aluminum and magnesium alloys, if not done properly.
