I need help with my speedometer

I just bought a 89 Dodge Daytona RPM gauge works but the speedometer did not so I changed out the speed sensor with a brand new one neither one work can anyone help me with this

Was that the one with the square cable or electronic? I'm having foggy flashbacks here.

4437023 is the speedo 1988-89 J,G bodies only have 10 all used & untested

I would replace the odometer gear. see post above.
