Default BLOWN FUSE

I NEED SOME HELP I HAVE A 91 DAYTONA THAT BLOWS THE PARKING LIGHT FUSE WHEN I HAVE A RADIO IN IT IF I TAKE THE RADIO OUT THE PARKING LIGHTS WILL WORK, ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IS CAUSING THIS. THANKS

Default RE: BLOWN FUSE

Do you have an inline fuse for the radio? You need one for these cars. Same goes for aftermarket driving lights. The regular fuse box can't handle the overload sometimes. When I installed my driving lights, it melted the toggle switch in the car and we had to install an auxilliary box to handle the overload. I am now having all kinds of electrical problems again and I'm thinking it's the radio again. I may have to upgrade the fuse. Good luck
