Default VNT turbo cars....question

I'm trying to settle a dispute. The Turbo IV VNT turbo was available in the 89 Shadow CSX, I believe in 1990 it was available in a G body (Daytona), Did Chrysler ever put that motor into the Lebaron coupe or convertible?

Thanks

They did put it in a lebaron, it's pretty rare though.

I guess all the vnt cars are rare though, so...

This is taken from turbododge.com...

"The total count of Lebaron VNT cars built were 255. 123 were the hardtop cars and 132 were optioned with the convertible top. Most of the verts were sold to companies for executive cars, which we all know do not survive well."

Well, I guess I lost that bet! Thanks for the reply. A 92' IROC? My favorite turbo motor of all time, the Turbo III.

Nice car.

Before I bought my 1990 Shadow 2.5L turbo I test drove a VNT powered Shadow, it was a white 89. Wish I'da bought the 89!

Default 90 vnt

In 90 the VNT was offered in the Lebaron, Daytona, and the Shadow. The only one that had a vacuum plated nameplate on it was the Lebaron HT,

It was on the door: I have these NOS. size is 5/8 X 2 1/8 INCHES

the Lebaron and Daytona had a decal on the headlight door (4538231)

and there were R/L decals on the hood on the P,G
