Im looking for where i can get an online or free copy of the 1988 Daytona's repair manual, im doing the engine work myself, the head blew, and now i cant seem to get the electrical right, and its snowed in right now, anyone who can help me would be great, and any advice on what i can do to get more power from my 2.2L base non turbo would be greatly appreciated
I don't have a specific answer to where you can find this manual, but I do have some advice from experience. Hopefully, you've already found your manual and you're on your way. If not, be very careful of purchasing a manual online - especially through auction sites, or if the manual comes on disk.
I learned the hard way that: (1) These are usually VERY degraded-quality images of bad photocopies of original manual pages. You can't even read half of them... that would be the tech specs and diagrams you need in most cases. (2) You probably won't get the manual promised. I've tried twice to buy (not the owner's manual, but a book like Chilton's) for my '93 Daytona IROC. The first one was unreadable, and only covered the base Daytona. The second wasn't even THAT close; it was a guide for base Daytonas PRIOR TO 1992.
Just a heads-up... make SURE you know what you're buying, and you have recourse if you don't get what was represented.

I have a 1984 Dodge Daytona turbo and currently having engine problems in which the car will just shut off after an hour or so of driving. Is anyone having the same issues?
