Unhappy Battery, radio, fuse issue

Battery died in wife's 2005 durango. (Clicking noise when trying to start). Someone tried to jump start her before I got there and apparently hooked the cables up backward at first. The jump didn't work so I replaced her battery and all was fine except that now her radio has no volume. I looked at the amplifier fuse (25A mini) and it was blown. As soon as I put a new one in it sparks at the fuse box and blows the fuse immediately. Any suggestions?
