Default Lost power steering assist

After searching multiple site, with no definitive answer, here is my issue...

2001 Durango SLT 4.7L 4x4
134,000 miles

Lost power steering assist. Fluid reservoir is full. Belt is tight. I've been all around the components and there are absolutely no leaks whatsoever.

I have not tried this, but will even though the post say's 1999...

If this is the prob, question answered, if not, is it just in need of a new power steering pump?

As a weekend wrenchhead, with the help of a Chilton book, I'm confident in my ability to get the job done correctly.

Thought's? and thanks in advance for your replies!
