Turn on lights and get a static sound
This is my wife's car and the other day I was driving it and turned on the headlights and I heard a constant static sound (sort of like Flourescent bulbs, when they are on their last leg) while I kept the lights on. I seems like it was coming from inside the console
Has anyone had any similar issue?
I have the basic 2010 Journey(4 cyl) Anyone have any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated. I haven't take it to the dealer yet.
Thx,
Paul

I'm sorry to learn of the recent noise heard when the headlights are on.
I haven't come across any similar cases in my research, is this sound heard when the high beams are activated as well?

Hey Guys,
Went into her car yesterday and tried to repeat the problem and it didn't happen, was following up on the "high beams" question.
Today I'm going to follow up on the radio question, was speaking with my son and he said that he get's that when the "aux cable" is attached to the phone/radio.
I'll let everyone know the result.
Thank you all for the input!
