Keyless entry key fob doesnt work
I have a 2010 Dodge Journey. My key fob used to work sometimes after many tries. My wifes was somewhat the same. I replaced the batteries and now neither one will lock, unlock or remote start. Is there any known problem with the receivers in this vehicle?
Should I try 2 new batteries? Is there any other way to troubleshoot?

I'm sorry to hear about your key fob concern. Did the intermittent failure with both keys begin around the same time? Where did you purchase the batteries?
Sometimes reinstalling the battery, perhaps ensuring the battery is making proper contact can resolve the issue.

Here is the solution to my problem with two key fobs that didnt work.
First one, it appears I put in a DEAD battery.. Not too bright.
Second one, wasnt the battery. I viewed a you tube that showed one way to :reconnect" the fob to communicate with car receiver. It was worth a try, and it worked!!!!!
I would like to share this with other Dodge forum users.
1st Insert key, dont turn it on.
2nd Hold down door unlock switch on door panel. Dont release.
3rd Turn key on and then off two times. (Not to start position, just to on)
4th Now stop depressing door unlock on door panel.
5th Remove key and depress both lock and unlock button simultaneously on key fob and continue holding down for at least 15 seconds. You should hear door lock or unlock.
I had to do this routine twice and now my remote works.

Excellent news! Glad to hear the keys are back up and running again!
