Can anyone tell me whether the entire door panel needs to be removed to replace the drivers side rear view mirror or can I gain access to the 3 bolts through the triangular panel at the corner of the door?

Without knowing offhand, I would see if the triangular panel can be pried off before I'd remove the door panel.

 

Agreed...I tried searching YouTube but of course there weren't vids of a journey. There were various other dodge models which varied from just removing the triangular panel to removing or loosening the door panel...

 

Yes that's how it is removed.

 

Upon further investigation, I saw that the triangular piece is actually part of the trim panel which is mounted under the door panel. So the door panel would need to be removed to access the three bolts..ugh...it's never easy, is it? Lol
