I bought my Journey and it's lasting the b/u camera and navigation. I'd like to have those in my car. I have the uconnect8.4 but not sure it's it's the RE2 or RE5. Also, I have a little slot for a memory card in my dash right above the cd port.

1) how can I check what radio unit I have?
2) I know there is a factory kit avail to add b/u camera, can I add nav?
3) Is there anything I'm missing?

 

Under settings, there's about. It will tell you the radio number, software version. The nav can be added by the dealer but the cost is significant from dealership. Seems like most are charging as high as $595.

I'm adding the backup camera shortly from my dealership for an installed price of just over $400. The nav option is going to be a Garmin from Best buy. They have life time updates too, so to me that's more worth buying than adding the oe version to the car.
