Default Dodge Journey 2010 Horn issue

My horn all of a sudden just started going off whether the car was on or off. We pulled the fuses out and it stopped. Does it mean there is a shortage in the system? Is there a recall on these vehicles for this since it seems to be an ongoing issue with the car,

I'm having a similar issue. I've already had it in to the dealer once to have the computer updated and they checked the wiring under the horn pad, but it started again while on a road trip a few weeks ago.

At first, it was intermittent--just going off once in a while either in traffic or parked. But during the road trip, it's like it just let go and was going pretty much all the time. We pulled the fuses and have been driving around without a horn since.

The whole thing is beyond frustrating and getting very expen$ive. No one seems to know how to fix it and I can't afford to keep dumping several hundred dollars into it every few weeks.
