If you got 43k miles on your Conti's I doubt you'll be considered for any kind of rebate. Most of the complaints have been tiires that wore irregularly (cupped) or had no tread after 10-20k miles.
Keep your snow tires handy. The tread on those is not "all weather" so not much help in snow and the Magnum itself is not known for it's handling characteristics in snow. I don't have AWD so keep an old Chevy 4wd SUV handy for winter driving. I like to protect my Magnum from the salt anyway.
