SXT vs RT?

RE: SXT vs RT?
For what you'll end up spending on the SE to catch it up to the SXT, I'd get the SXT to begin with (which I obviously did). You'll need to tint the windows, buy aluminum wheels cause SE has hubcaps, it'll be tough to add the power seat, 4-wheel antilock brakes standard on SXT option on SE, cargo compartment cover, 160 amp alternator, cargo net , emergency brake assist, improved engine cooling, vanity mirrors on sun visor...
Anyway Here's where you can compare them side by side.

RE: SXT vs RT?
Thanks for that list of upgrades SXT.
I went to my dealers today and the salesman told me the same thing. He has driven both and the SE just doesn't have what I'm looking for. I searched through 20 local dealers inventory online and didn't find a single SE. Buddy told me his dealership only gets a SE if someone orders it in. I think my research and the opinions on here have made the decision for me.......................I think the next member of dodgeforum may be Canadian SXT!!

RE: SXT vs RT?
The SXT is the best deal for the $$$. If your gonna spend 35K then you'll be better off with the Audi S4 Wagon - more performance and luxurious. The hemi engine is okay, but it can't compete with the Audi S4's. You posted the mods you made for your RT - how much did you spend? (Grandma's jeans)

RE: SXT vs RT?
If you can afford the RT (plus mods) you better off considering the higher performance Audi S4 wagon or Volvo. The price of the SXT is adequate and very competitive against other wagons, but the spending 3-5k more for the V8 doesn't seem worth it?
