Default Dash Reads that key is in, when it isn't??

Ok so this is the deal, on my 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T, I was removing my old underglow kit, I bought the car with the kit already installed. Its an OPTX Street Glow with the LED Tubes. As I was removing the wiring to the control box, all of a sudden my car starting chiming and the Dash read that the key was in, the ignition was all the way in the lock position and the key was not in at all. Any ideas what may have caused this? I do have to mention that I do have an aftermarket alarm/remote start system by Encore Model E7.

Wiring messed up somewhere. Un-do what you did until it is normal again.
