Default outside temp

when i push the trip odometer in a few times till it shows the outside temp it never reads the temp correctly.

The temp sensor is in the grill. A little 2 wire black thingy all by itself.

will that sensor cause the check engine light to come on? only askin cuz mine is on but its for O2 sensor bank 1 position 2.

It's called AMBIENT temp sensor.


That's a downstream O2. Won't affect drivability at all.




Remove the push pin (3) that secures the ambient air temperature sensor (1) to the bottom of the front bumper beam (4).
