Default Dual Snorkel Air Cleaner

I may be grasping at straws, but you never know until you ask. I'm in need of a 66/67 Dual Snorkel air cleaner for my 440. If you have one or know of someone who has one for sale please LMK. Much appreciated. Don

Default Dual Snorkel - Additional Info & Pic

I wanted to add some more additional info regarding the dual snorkel air cleaner I'm looking for. What I'm looking for is the gloss black version, with 10 ribs around the top, large notch on the front and another on the back driver's side and it has 2 round snorkels. It would not of come with a pie pan on it, only a single decal on the front of it. Here's a pic.

i did find a site where this guy lists maybe all the chrysler air cleaners, with pics. but dont know the site.

You're probably referring to Nick's Garage. He's got a lot of good info on air cleaners etc.

yep thats an amazing site. i remember seeing those when they were new, and not thinking much about them. i remember in 1968 thinking these are the best times, AND THEY WERE.

ya my first drag race was in 1955 the first NHRA national drag races, in greatbend KS. from 1966 thru 1968 my dad and i went to tulsa ok for NHRA world points finals. name ANY well known cars i have seen them. hurst hemi under glass, little red wagon, Hurst hairy Oldsmobile. in 1968 i got to see, in person, the 1968 hemi cuda. and talked to Ronnie Sox standing next to the cuda. it WAS the best of times, end of story
