Exclamation Mild 1969 383 Build

Hey guys, so I have been sitting on building a 383 for about a year now. My buddy helped me get the parts and it all setup and was supposed to help me but for the life of me, I can't get him to actually come over and help. SO I bought a book on building Mopar big blocks and before I dive into this thing myself, I didn't know if you guys had any tricks or warnings to give before I give this a whirl. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! PS the block is a 1969, bored .060 over with Keith Black pistons. High volume oil/water/fuel pumps. Block has had all the bearings installed. Crank was cleaned up .010 over. Block and crank have both been sitting for a year, have accumulated some surface dust, maybe a lil light rust. Thoughts?
